IMPLANTS

IMPLANTS

Dental Implants

Dental implants are considered one of the most advanced and reliable solutions for replacing one or more missing teeth.

An implant functions as an artificial tooth root. Made from biocompatible titanium, it is surgically placed into the jawbone, where it gradually integrates with the surrounding bone to create a stable foundation for the final restoration.

Once healing is complete, a dental crown, bridge, or other prosthetic restoration is securely attached to the implant, restoring both function and appearance.

Dental implants closely replicate the feel and function of natural teeth, allowing patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. When premium implant systems and certified materials are used, treatment success rates are exceptionally high.

Our clinic offers a lifetime warranty on all dental implant systems we provide.

Implant treatment begins with a comprehensive clinical examination and detailed diagnostic imaging. Depending on the case, this may include panoramic radiographs and three-dimensional imaging using the KaVo Pro CBCT system.

Before treatment, we carefully review each patient’s medical history, current health condition, and any medications that may influence the procedure. Bone quantity and quality are also thoroughly evaluated, as they are essential for successful implant placement.

Once the treatment plan has been finalized, the implant is placed under local anesthesia. The procedure is comfortable and minimally invasive, while antibiotic therapy may be recommended when clinically indicated.

After successful osseointegration, implants function much like natural teeth. Maintaining excellent oral hygiene and attending regular dental check-ups are essential to ensure their long-term health and stability.

When there is insufficient bone volume to support a dental implant, bone augmentation procedures may be required before implant placement.

Bone grafting techniques are used to rebuild the jawbone and create a stable foundation for successful implant treatment.

To promote faster healing, we also utilize the body’s own natural growth factors. Following a simple blood draw, the patient’s blood is processed in a centrifuge to produce Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) membranes, which are placed at the surgical site to support tissue regeneration and accelerate healing.

In combination with advanced regenerative techniques and osseodensification, these procedures allow us to increase bone volume and successfully place implants even in complex clinical situations where bone availability is limited.

Modern digital implant dentistry allows eligible patients to replace missing teeth in a single day.

Treatment begins with digital data acquired through the Medit i500 intraoral scanner and CBCT imaging. These scans provide highly accurate three-dimensional information about both the teeth and the underlying bone.

Using specialized planning software, a custom surgical guide is designed and fabricated with a NextDent 3D printer. This guide enables precise implant positioning by controlling the exact angle, depth, and location of every implant.

In selected cases, implants can be placed using a flapless surgical technique, minimizing surgical trauma and improving patient comfort.

Because implant placement is digitally planned, temporary restorations can often be fabricated before surgery. As a result, many patients can leave the clinic the very same day with functional temporary teeth already in place.

Eligibility for immediate loading is determined individually following a comprehensive clinical evaluation.

PROSTHODONTICS

PROSTHODONTICS

Digital Dentistry & Intraoral Scanning

Digital dentistry has transformed the way modern dental treatments are planned and performed.

Our clinic uses advanced intraoral scanning technology to capture highly accurate digital impressions of the teeth and surrounding oral structures. This allows us to create precise digital models without the discomfort associated with traditional impression materials.

The digital files are transmitted directly to the dental laboratory, improving communication and ensuring restorations with exceptional fit and precision.

This technology is particularly beneficial for patients with a strong gag reflex, as it eliminates the need for conventional impression trays in most cases.

Combined with 3D printing technology, digital impressions also allow us to fabricate temporary restorations quickly and accurately, reducing treatment time while maintaining outstanding quality.

When a tooth has been extensively damaged, weakened by repeated fillings, or has lost a significant amount of its structure, a dental crown may be the most appropriate restorative solution.

A crown completely covers the visible portion of the tooth, restoring its strength, function, and natural appearance while protecting it from further damage.

Treatment begins with careful preparation of the tooth, followed by either a conventional or digital impression. This information is then sent to our dental laboratory for the fabrication of the final restoration.

Depending on each clinical situation, crowns may be manufactured from zirconia or other high-quality ceramic materials, providing exceptional aesthetics, durability, and biocompatibility.

We work exclusively with experienced dental laboratories and certified materials to ensure restorations that combine outstanding fit, natural appearance, and long-term performance.

When insufficient tooth structure remains, a post and core may first be placed to reinforce the tooth before the crown is fitted.

Treatment is typically completed in two appointments, with laboratory fabrication taking approximately three to four working days.

The longevity of a dental crown depends on both the quality of the restoration and the patient’s oral hygiene habits. Regular dental examinations and good daily oral care are essential.

Our clinic provides a 5-year warranty on all dental crowns.

A dental bridge is a fixed prosthetic restoration designed to replace one or more missing teeth.

Traditional bridges are supported by the healthy teeth adjacent to the gap, which are carefully prepared to serve as anchors for the restoration.

Besides restoring chewing ability and aesthetics, bridges help prevent neighboring teeth from shifting into the empty space.

Whenever appropriate, dental implants may be recommended instead, allowing replacement of missing teeth without preparing healthy adjacent teeth.

Bridges can be fabricated using porcelain fused to metal or modern all-ceramic materials, depending on the clinical and aesthetic requirements of each case.

Every restoration is manufactured using certified materials by experienced dental technicians to ensure durability, comfort, and a highly natural appearance.

Long-term success depends on meticulous oral hygiene. In addition to regular brushing, patients should clean underneath the bridge using floss threaders or interdental brushes to prevent plaque accumulation around the supporting teeth.

Our clinic offers a 5-year warranty on all dental bridges.

Dentures provide a reliable solution for replacing multiple or all missing teeth while restoring chewing function, speech, facial support, and confidence.

Treatment begins with highly accurate impressions of the oral tissues to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

Successful denture therapy depends on close collaboration between the dentist, dental technician, and patient. During fabrication, several try-in appointments may be required to evaluate aesthetics, bite, and overall comfort.

Most dentures are completed within five to seven working days. Following delivery, any necessary adjustments are made to optimize fit and function.

It is perfectly normal to experience an adjustment period during the first few days of wearing new dentures. As patients become accustomed to them, speech and chewing gradually improve.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are recommended when several natural teeth remain.

The remaining teeth provide support and retention for the prosthesis, improving stability during speaking and chewing. Each partial denture is individually designed according to the patient’s oral condition and restorative needs.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are indicated when all teeth in either the upper or lower jaw have been lost.

They are custom-made to fit comfortably over the gums while restoring facial support, chewing efficiency, and speech.

Proper daily cleaning is essential for maintaining both the dentures and the health of the oral tissues. Dentures should be rinsed after meals and cleaned at least twice daily using a soft brush and appropriate denture cleanser.

Patients are also encouraged to gently clean the gums, tongue, and oral tissues to maintain good oral hygiene and stimulate healthy circulation.

Depending on the dentist’s recommendations, dentures may either be worn overnight or stored in water while sleeping.

Our clinic provides a 5-year warranty on all dentures.

Professional Teeth Whitening

A brighter smile can significantly enhance both your appearance and your confidence. At our clinic, we offer Philips ZOOM! Teeth Whitening, available as an in-office treatment or as a customized at-home solution.

Before beginning any whitening procedure, we perform a thorough dental examination to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy and suitable for treatment. Existing fillings and restorations are also evaluated, as their shade cannot be altered through whitening.

At-Home Whitening

For patients who prefer whitening at home, we fabricate custom-made whitening trays designed specifically for your teeth. The whitening gel is applied according to your dentist’s instructions, either during the day or overnight, depending on the selected treatment protocol.

In-Office Whitening

Our in-office whitening treatment is performed using the Philips ZOOM! system. After protecting the gums with a light-cured barrier, the whitening gel is applied and activated using the ZOOM! LED lamp. Up to four treatment cycles may be completed during a single appointment, depending on the desired level of whitening.

For the first few days after treatment, patients are advised to avoid coffee, tea, red wine, smoking, and other staining substances. Temporary tooth sensitivity to hot or cold is normal and typically subsides within a short period.

Non-Vital Tooth Whitening

Teeth that have previously undergone root canal treatment may darken over time. Internal whitening is performed by removing the existing filling material, placing a specialized whitening agent inside the tooth, and restoring the tooth once the desired shade has been achieved. The process usually takes around two weeks.

Porcelain veneers offer an excellent solution for improving the appearance of your smile while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.

They can correct discoloration, worn enamel, minor gaps, irregular tooth shape, and other aesthetic imperfections, providing natural-looking, long-lasting results tailored to your facial features and smile.

Digital Smile Design allows us to visualize your future smile before treatment even begins.

Using digital intraoral scans combined with facial photographs, we create a personalized digital simulation that shows how your new smile will look. This allows you to actively participate in the planning process and ensures that the final result matches your expectations.

Invisalign® is the world’s leading clear aligner system for orthodontic treatment.

Following a comprehensive clinical assessment, a series of custom-made transparent aligners is created to gradually move your teeth into their ideal position. The aligners are typically replaced every two weeks and, thanks to their discreet appearance, allow patients to continue their daily activities with confidence.

Treatment duration varies according to the complexity of each case, but the result is a healthier bite and a beautifully aligned smile.

Tooth-Coloured Fillings

When is a filling needed?

Composite fillings are recommended when a tooth has been affected by decay or when an existing filling has fractured or deteriorated.

The procedure

After administering local anesthesia, the decayed tooth structure is carefully removed, and the tooth is prepared for restoration.

To make the procedure more comfortable, our clinic offers The Wand® Computer-Assisted Anesthesia System, providing a more controlled and comfortable anesthetic experience.

The tooth is restored using high-quality tooth-coloured composite resin, which is hardened with a curing light and carefully shaped to restore proper function and aesthetics.

After treatment

Mild sensitivity or slight discomfort during chewing may occur for a few days following treatment and usually resolves naturally. If symptoms persist, a follow-up examination is recommended.

Our clinic provides a 5-year warranty on all composite fillings.

Microscope-assisted root canal treatment represents the latest advancement in modern endodontics, offering greater precision, safety, and long-term success.

The high magnification provided by the operating microscope allows the endodontist to identify all root canals, thoroughly clean and disinfect the tooth, and diagnose complex situations such as root fractures, separated instruments, or previously failed root canal treatments.

Benefits

  • Greater treatment precision
  • Higher success rates
  • Maximum preservation of healthy tooth structure
  • Improved diagnosis of complex cases
  • Greater patient comfort
  • Effective retreatment of failed root canal procedures

Whenever possible, our goal is to preserve your natural tooth and maintain its function for many years.

Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting the tissues that support the teeth. Because it often progresses without pain or obvious symptoms, early diagnosis is essential.

Prevention

Good daily oral hygiene, proper tooth brushing, flossing or interdental cleaning, and regular dental check-ups are the most effective ways to prevent periodontal disease.

Smoking, genetic predisposition, stress, and poor nutrition can also increase the risk of developing periodontitis.

Treatment

When diagnosed early, periodontal disease can usually be managed successfully through appropriate treatment. More advanced cases may require periodontal surgery to eliminate deep periodontal pockets.

If a tooth cannot be preserved, replacement options include dental implants, bridges, or removable dentures.

Routine dental examinations play a vital role in maintaining long-term oral health and detecting dental problems before they become more serious.

During your appointment, your dentist may perform:

  • Clinical examination
  • Digital X-rays when necessary
  • Removal of plaque and tartar
  • Elimination of external stains caused by coffee, tea, or smoking
  • Professional polishing
  • Personalized oral hygiene instructions

The recommended frequency of dental cleanings depends on each patient’s individual oral health needs.

Tooth extraction is recommended when a tooth cannot be restored due to extensive fracture, severe periodontal disease, or other clinical reasons.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia using minimally invasive techniques to promote optimal healing.

After the extraction, patients receive detailed postoperative instructions, including avoiding vigorous rinsing, smoking, or chewing until the anesthesia has completely worn off.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom teeth are evaluated through clinical examination and radiographic imaging before treatment.

Depending on their position, extraction may be straightforward or require a surgical approach. Our clinic provides specialized surgical management of impacted and partially impacted wisdom teeth using modern techniques focused on patient comfort and safety.

Grinding or clenching your teeth during sleep can lead to tooth wear, jaw pain, headaches, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems.

Following a clinical evaluation, we fabricate a custom-made night guard designed to protect your teeth, reduce excessive pressure on the jaw muscles, and help prevent further damage caused by bruxism.

An oral anti-snoring appliance is an effective treatment option for patients with primary snoring and selected cases of obstructive sleep apnea, always in collaboration with a sleep medicine specialist.

The appliance gently advances the lower jaw during sleep, helping to maintain an open airway and improve airflow. This contributes to quieter sleep and may significantly reduce snoring episodes.
